This week I spent some quality time with my sister. After work day on Monday we got toget there at Disingoff Center in Tel Aviv. I thik we spent something like four hours there. At least a whole one in MAC.
So, I got a highlighter, which is pretty much like a brightening concealer. It comes in a tube with a brush on one side, and the other side controls how much material you get onto the brush.
I also got a new palette, this time with neautral tones. I only got two eyeshadows, but later on sure I'll complete the quade. So, I got a light shade which must be Nylon - a very shimmerry golden white. The darker shade that I got was Mystery, only because they couldn't find Concrete. This one is a matte dark brown, that goes perfectly on the crease or on its own.
Next we hit the drugstore - Super Pharm. I wanted to see what's the fuss about L'OREAL color infaillible. I bought one in Sahara Treasure which is intense shimmerry gold color. I really don't know why everyone has been raving about this, but I find it not satisfing. Sure it's highly pigmented, but I couldn't yet find the best way to apply this. If you have any suggestions I would like to hear. With the finger most on the product stuck to my skin, and I needed to "recharge" three or four times. With a brush, the results weren't better.
I also got the Super Liner. Actually, I really liked the product. Easy to use, very opaque and rich black. Good for travels.
From Broujois I picked an eye liner with the smoky effect in Ultra Black. The formula is creamy and if I'd like I can smudge the line with the little brush on the top.
From Revlon I picked another Color Burst gloss in Peany - coral tinted. Unlike the Pink Ice, this one is more pigmented. I really like this pne, goes perfectly with smoky eyes or neautral colors.
Last but not least I reached CARELINE - Israeli brand, which is manufactured in South of Israel.
Throughout the years, CARELINE made rebranding. Their packaging changed into simple white with a thin black, which is more expensive looking. Recently I tried their new blush. The packaging is too big. I find it a bit clumsy. So I was very curious to see what change they did with their lipsticks.
Well, they did improve the formula - more soft and creamy, and rich pigment.
I picked two: Clean Purple (P30) - purple pink with blue undertone, very warm and wintery, and Ruby Red (R20) - intense red with blue undertone as well.
Really liked the colors, not the packaging. Not comfortable in the hand or in the makeup bag, takes a lot of space, eveny in the drawer storage. I already dropped them twice.
And finally, I got a purple nail polish by CARELINE in the number 391. Haven't tried it, but I'm gonna.
Hope you enjoyed.
